Carly Edmundson Joins Premier’s Business and Jobs Council Subcommittee – January 2026

CentrePort President & CEO, Carly Edmundson, is joining the Premier’s Business and Jobs Council as a member of the new subcommittee on Trade Diversification – Internal and International Trade. This subcommittee will work with the Province of Manitoba to help strengthen Manitoba’s economy and create good jobs provincewide.

Created in December 2023, the Premier’s Business and Jobs Council brings together business, labour and Indigenous leaders to provide advice on strengthening Manitoba’s economy and creating good jobs provincewide. The council will now operate with five subcommittees, including three new subcommittees focused on:

  • education, training and workforce development,
  • trade diversification – internal and international trade,
  • and tourism.

The council is co-chaired by Ash Modha, CEO of Mondetta Clothing and a CentrePort Canada Board Director, and Kevin Rebeck, president of Manitoba Federation of Labour.
