Shawano Wapunong Investments Corp. (SWIC) is the investment and business development affiliate of the Southeast Tribal Council (SERDC). Since 1982, this private corporation and its subsidiaries have served the interests of advancing economic development for its member nations as shareholders. The corporation is equally owned and operated by the eight First Nations of SERDC; Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, Berens River First Nation, Black River First Nation, Bloodvein River First Nation, Hollow Water First Nation, Little Grand Rapids First Nation, and Poplar River First Nation.
