Construction Updates – January 2023

Did you know there are over 2,000 acres in development at CentrePort? In 2022, over $74 million of development permits were issued and 630,000+ square feet of new construction were initiated. Here’s a look at some of the latest projects:

CentrePort Canada Rail Park

Lots within the 193 acre Phase 1 of the CentrePort Canada Rail Park are now for sale. The 665-acre Rail Park is a rail-served industrial space with logistics infrastructure. Lots in Phase 1, developed by Focus Equities, have been subdivided and rezoned to I3 (Heavy Industrial). Learn more

West Creek Industrial Park

Two buildings, totaling 300,000 square feet of industrial space, are under construction and available for lease in West Creek Industrial Park. The park is owned by Hopewell Development and located at the corner of Red Fife Road and Durum Drive. Occupancy expected in Q2 2023. Learn more.

Steele Business Park

Construction of Phase 2 of 3 multi-tenant buildings in the 17-acre Steele Business Park is now complete and available for lease. Phase I, totaling 80,190 square feet and developed by MMI Asset Management, is now 70% leased, Phase II is 66,200 square feet. Learn more.

15 Davis Way
15 Davis Way, a 10,000 square foot office/flex space in Brookside Business Park, is ready for occupancy. Situated adjacent to Tim Hortons and Shell Canada, this development has room for a Quick Service Restaurant opportunity with potential drive-thru. BrookPort Business Park
The first three phases of BrookPort Business Park, a $42-million industrial park developed by Whiteland Developers, have sold out bringing the total land under development to 260 acres. Seventeen companies have purchased lots in the latest 90-acre phase of the park.  At market launch, more than 80% of the 42 lots were pre-sold, with the remaining lots selling quickly. Companies that have acquired lots within the park are set to invest more than $75 million on construction. Learn more.
