Highway Motor Freight is expanding its operations with a $16 million investment in a new 32,000 sq. ft. transportation terminal at CentrePort Canada Rail Park, creating over 150 jobs. A groundbreaking event for this new facility was held on August 22, 2024, celebrating the second company to move to the Rail Park. Set to be operational by late 2025, the expansion will significantly boost the company’s capabilities and enhance regional logistics.
Highway Motor Freight specializes in hauling temperature-controlled meat, perishables, beverages, frozen food, and dairy products. They currently operate out of a facility in CentrePort’s Brookside Business Park.
