Transportation company to expand on 40 acre site in CentrePort Canada
October 27, 2021 – 4Tracks Ltd. has broken ground on a $12.5 million office, warehouse, and cross-dock facility in CentrePort Canada (“CentrePort”). The transportation company is expanding its operations with plans for future growth. The new facility is located in CentrePort North, the Rural Municipality of Rosser (“R.M. of Rosser”) lands at the inland port, and is situated at the intersection of CentrePort Canada Way and Rosser Road.
For more than 14 years, 4Tracks Ltd., currently located on Eagle Drive in CentrePort, has been providing transportation and supply chain solutions to clients across North America. The company has outgrown its existing terminal and will build a 27,000 square foot building on 40 acres in Rosser. The new facility is slated to open in fall 2022.
“We have doubled our operations over the last five years and are expecting to grow by another twenty percent in the near future,” said Jas Brar, Vice President, 4Tracks Ltd. “Our new location is ideally situated at a major intersection within the heart of CentrePort, easily accessible for our long combination vehicles, and is the perfect fit for our growing business.”
4Tracks Ltd. employs over 350 people, servicing clients across Canada and the U.S. The site plan for the new facility allows for future expansion opportunities.
“We are thrilled that 4Tracks, an existing CentrePort company, has found a new home to grow and expand their operations,” said Diane Gray, President & CEO, CentrePort. “We are seeing an incredible demand for industrial land in the R.M. of Rosser, particularly as it relates to the logistics and trucking industry. 4Tracks’ new facility is perfectly situated to take advantage of the transportation assets and highway connectivity in CentrePort.”
“We are excited to see the continued progress of Jas Brar and 4Tracks Ltd. on their Highway 221 site,” said Frances Smee, Reeve, R.M. of Rosser. “4Tracks is a wonderful Manitoba story; a large and growing trucking operation that has been an important supply chain participant during the pandemic. We wish them well as they break ground on their new facility in the thriving Rosser CentrePort lands.”
CentrePort Canada is Manitoba’s 20,000-acre inland port and Foreign Trade Zone. Located in the heart of North America, CentrePort connects to major national and international trade gateways and corridors, and is the only inland port in Canada with direct access to trimodal transportation – truck, rail and air cargo.
