On March 15, 2023, the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, announced an investment of up to $18 million in project funding towards the CentrePort Canada Rail Park. Under the National Trade Corridors Fund, this investment will improve intermodal connectivity in the Winnipeg metro region. Located in the Rural Municipality of Rosser, the 665-acre CentrePort Canada Rail Park is being developed by Focus Equities and combines industrial space with logistics infrastructure.

The Rail Park will offer globally-connected businesses with large-volume shipping needs the ability to access, transfer, and transport goods between road and rail, with close access to Winnipeg’s Richardson International Airport. Combining industrial space with logistics infrastructure makes it a prime location for companies serving regional and global clients.

The CentrePort Canada Rail Park is currently in development by Focus Equities Inc., a Canadian corporation that provides development, investment, and project finances in real estate and infrastructure.
