CentrePort Canada is thrilled to announce the appointment of Shreeraj Patel, Vice President, Commercial Financial Services with Royal Bank of Canada, as Chair of the corporation’s private sector-led board of directors. Patel joined the CentrePort Board of Directors in 2022 as the nominee of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and previously held the roles of Vice Chair and Chair for the Finance & Audit committee.

Marty Maykut is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in engineering and management. He is President of Anvil Management and Senior Vice President at Price Industries, and brings valuable expertise from his previous role managing StreetSide Developments, a division of Qualico Developments. Marty is a nominee of the City of Winnipeg.
Michael Woelcke brings a wealth of knowledge from his recent tenure as CEO of Arctic Gateway Group and his 30-year career at VIA Rail Canada. His broad experience in property management, real estate and customer services, including oversight of regional train services, will be a significant asset to the Board. Michael is a nominee of the Government of Canada.
Sangeet Bhatia has a strong background in audit and consulting, having led Management Solutions at Deloitte. With over 15 years as Manitoba Marketplace Consulting Leader, Mrs. Bhatia’s insights into business growth and technology-enabled solutions will greatly benefit CentrePort’s strategic initiatives. Sangeet is a nominee of the Winnipeg Airports Authority.
Don Hurst brings considerable experience to the board, from his recent role as Director of WORKSAFELY® Education and Training at MHCA and his previous positions as Manitoba’s Chief Prevention Officer and federal tax policy analyst. His deep understanding of workplace safety and economic policy will be an invaluable asset. Don is a nominee of the Government of Manitoba.
