Free One-Week Mat Trial – Enhance Safety and Cleanliness

As winter approaches, many businesses prepare by upgrading their matting solutions to handle the challenges of snow, salt, sand, and melting slush. These conditions not only increase the risk of slips and falls but can also impact a facility’s appearance. The right matting can be transformative for maintaining cleanliness and safety.

To support businesses in selecting the best matting option, Quintex offers a one-week trial on a single mat (excluding logo mats). We will place the mat in your designated area and collect it after the trial, allowing you to evaluate its performance within your day-to-day operations before committing to ongoing service. If you are interested, please reach out and ask about preferred CenterPort pricing.

For further insights, explore our series of blog posts on matting to help guide your decision toward the optimal solution for your facility.

While very proud to celebrate more than 25 years of delivering iconic brands and advertising campaign, on reflection, the company realized they had expanded far beyond the realm of design — from social media and communications to wireframe and UX design, along with SEO optimization and app development — Relish Branding is now Relish Ideas.

In support of its growing portfolio of services, the time was right to bring on a new partner. In August long-time employee and web developer Katherine Westwood became a Principal owner, joining partners Suzanne Braun, James Black and Branden Douglas.

Lakeview Hotels and Resorts: A Legacy of Commitment and Community in Winnipeg

For the past 60 years, Lakeview Hotels and Resorts has remained dedicated to its Winnipeg roots, with its head office still located downtown. Known for its strong values and exceptional customer service, the brand has built lasting relationships with both corporate clients and local Manitobans.

Lakeview’s story began in 1964, when founder Jack Levit established the company with a focus on property development. His vision helped shape Winnipeg’s skyline through major projects, including hotels, office buildings, apartments, and restaurants—most notably the Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse, which continues to thrive today.

In the mid-1980s, Lakeview expanded into hotel management with Keith Levit joining the company in 1983. By 1999, the company launched its own hotel brand, starting with the Lakeview Resort & Conference Center in Gimli and Lakeview Inn & Suites in Brandon. After going public in 2006, Lakeview extended its presence into Alberta and Northern BC. The brand continued to grow, building The Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel in 2013, acquiring Lakeview Hecla Resort and Salka Spa the same year, and later adding Hecla Golf Course in 2016. In 2019, the company refocused its attention on its five Manitoba properties while continuing to support its seven flagship locations in Alberta and BC.

Lakeview Hotels & Resorts are known for their scenic locations, from lakefront views to prime airport spots. Guests enjoy year-round conferences, retreats, and seasonal attractions like beacfront weddings and winter sports.

Today, under the leadership of President Keith Levit, Lakeview remains committed to hospitality excellence. His hands-on approach and genuine care for both guests and employees ensure that every stay at Lakeview Hotels & Resorts is memorable, reinforcing the company’s legacy of outstanding service.
