Construction Updates – September 2023

Interested in what’s happening at CentrePort? With close to $400 million in building permits issued over the last 5 years, totaling 2 million SF of construction, the landscape is constantly evolving. Here’s a look at some of the latest projects:

South Mollard Industrial Park

A new 108-acre industrial park has come to market in CentrePort North at the intersection of Mollard Road and Brookside Boulevard. There are 22 lots available, ranging in size from 3.08 acres to 22.45 acres. The land is zoned I2 Industrial General, with lot prices listed at $549,000-$649,000 per acre.

West Creek Industrial Park

Two new buildings, totaling ±294,000 square feet of industrial space are currently under construction and available for lease in West Creek Industrial Park owned by Hopewell Developments. The buildings are being constructed simultaneously and occupancy for building one is set for October 1, 2023 with building two being available in January 2024. Learn more.

Two build-to-suit buildings are currently under construction in the 43.4 acre InksPort Business Park, currently in development by Whiteland Developers. Learn more.

BrookPort Business Park

The fourth and final phase of BrookPort Business Park, a $42-million industrial park developed by Whiteland Developers, has now sold out bringing the total land under development to 280 acres. BrookPort Business Park was brought to market 5 years ago and is now home to more than 50 companies in various stages of development. Over the last 5 years, Whiteland Developers has invested over $100 million to bring this park to the market, selling out several years ahead of schedule. In addition to acting as the developer of BrookPort, Whiteland has constructed several major projects within the park, including 12 Vervain Drive and Aster Drive Industrial Condos. Learn more.

12 Vervain Drive

An 83,174 square foot multi-tenant building at 12 Vervain Drive is 100% conditionally leased by two tenants. Brought to market by Whiteland Developers, this modern, high bay industrial building features a large loading court, 32 foot ceilings and space options in a varying sizes. Steele Business Park

Phase I of Steele Business Park is now 100% leased, with leasing of Phase II well underway. Upon completion, this Park will consist of 3 multi-tenant industrial buildings, totaling 220,000 SF on 17 acres.
