PRICE FAMILY FOUNDATION’S HISTORIC $10M DONATION SETS STAGE FOR CAREERS, RESEARCH AND GROWTH IN MANUFACTURING – On June 28, 2023 history was made at RRC Polytech with the announcement of the Price Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics. The new institute will upskill workers and put Manitoba on the map for manufacturing research and partnerships. It was made possible by the incredible generosity of Dr. Gerry Price and Barb Price’s $10 million donation – through the Price Family Foundation, with additional support from the Province of Manitoba ($4.84 million) and the Government of Canada through Prairies Economic Development Canada ($3 million), for a total of $17.8 million.
